Role Overview

Stableyard Catering company based at Heaton House Farm is an innovative catering company passionate about creating simple yet delicious food that focuses on great taste. We are committed to providing a fantastic food and beverage service to our client's and their guests and are seeking an exceptional Chef de Partie to join our brigade. The last 12 month's have been challenging however we are rebuilding our team to cater for the large number of events ahead!

About You

  • You will have good knowledge of food operations and have experience in preparing and producing high quality dishes in large volumes
  • You should be passionate about food and pay great attention to detail in everything you do
  • You will be able to work within a team but also independently
  • You will have a minimum of NVQ level 2 or other relevant qualifications
  • You should have some banqueting experience

About the Job

  • Assist the Head and Sous Chef with the planning and organisation of all food operations on a daily basis.
  • Prepare dishes to the correct recipe and quantity
  • Supervise junior or agency chefs as required
  • Take charge in the absence of the Sous Chef
  • Ensure the kitchen is cleaned to the agreed company standard

The role is full time and permanent. You will need to be flexible as you will work 5 days our of 7 including weekends and bank holidays however as we build our brigade, we will be able to offer more flexibility.
