Hoop Human Resources are working on behalf of a forward thinking professional services organisation in Cardiff who are looking for a HR Manager. This will be a really exciting time to join this company as the next 2 years will see some considerable growth plans and HR will be a big part in this.
The role is a true generalist position and will include:
* Recruitment - Managing end to end recruitment. This will be a large focus of this role due to the pending expansion plans
* Employee Relations - Dealing with any employee relations issues, from monitoring sickness/absence, to taking charge of any disciplinary or grievance processes
* Providing general HR advise - advising to line managers and board level on any HR advise and updating on any recent HR legislations
* Training - designing and delivering on any soft skills training for the workforce, including liaising with external suppliers to coordinate that training
* Reporting - using excel and HRIS systems to produce HR reports and present findings in the senior leadership meetings
* Performance Management - supporting managers to manage staff performance
This role is currently a stand alone role, although there will be a requirement for a HR Assistant to join this role in the near future.
To be considered for this role, you will have at least 3 years experience in a senior HR position. You will be a strategic thinker, with excellent communication skills. This is a very varied role so you will need to be a do-er, be prepared to roll up your sleeves and get involved with any duties that are needed. You must be flexible, professional and able to work in a fast paced environment. It is essential to have CIPD level 5 or 7 (or equiv)
