National Care Manager
The Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association have an exciting opportunity for a National Care Manager to join our Care Directorate at our national office in Northampton, where we operate a trusting, collaborative, and agile working environment. Salary: c.GBP35,000 per annum plus benefitsLocation: Northampton with agile workingHours: Full-time 37 hours per weekContract Type: PermanentAbout the roleThe National Care Manager is responsible for the management, day to day running and adequate resourcing of the MND Association's Support Services and Care Administration Team, as well as supporting the Head of National Care with reporting on impact to Directors and Trustees.You will be responsible for leading a motivated and compassionate staff team, providing leadership, support, and a culture of continuous improvement, whilst ensuring the Associations values are consistently demonstrated.You will ensure the service makes best use of the CRM system and technology, and work is delivered to agreed timescales and within budget.This role will also work effectively in building relationships with other charities and support agencies to identify opportunities for joint working, sharing good practice and helping drive innovation. What are we looking for?You will have excellent team and people management skills to lead and motivate staff and volunteers, together with experience in grant programme management and the ability to optimise the latest digital technology to drive success.Your key skills will also include:Good relationship building skills and the ability to be tactful, diplomatic, and sensitive to the needs of others.Strong influencing skills and an ability to build and establish good relationships with a range of stakeholders.Knowledge of Health and Social Care, medical and research issuesAbility to respond quickly and effectively to changing needs, service requirements and to meet tight deadlines.Experience of operating in a modern digital workplace with experience of online case management systems and an understanding of the importance of data qualityStrong analytical skills to interpret and present statistical management information effectively.For full role responsibilities please view the job description.
