As we look to return to service, Carnival UK (CUK) has big plans for the future and our Procurement team have never been busier! Our Procurement team is made up of over 25 professionals specialising to support a diverse range of products and services across the business.

We are currently recruiting for an administration position within our dedicated Procurement team. Based at our Southampton headquarters, you will be responsible for supporting a Team of Buyers with general admin functions as they source and purchase all operational goods and services required to keep the Fleet moving.

The role

Key to the success of this role will be your ability to prioritise and manage multiple streams of information keeping detailed records and communicating effectively with key stakeholders within CUK's offices, our Fleet & Supply Chain.

You'll be responsible for preparing and issuing RFQ's to the supply chain, collating responses and sharing with the Buying Team. You'll also support Buyers & Expeditors in the timely supply of Goods to the Fleet and manage technical queries through to resolution. Systems wise you'll run reports and assist the Buyers with analysis, updating internal purchasing system with critical information and dates.

Please note we are currently recruiting for two positions, one to support our indirect team and one to support hotel/F&B.

About you

We are looking for a first class communicator with expert organisational skills with a focus on process, with the ability to apply clarity of purpose and define simple, robust operating processes. Strong IT skills with great attention to detail are also required and a background in supply/order processing would be ideal.

About the Team

As part of the Shared Services function, our Procurement and Supply Chain teams make sure that both our fleet of ships and our shore teams have everything they need, wherever its needed in the world, to give our guests an incredible experience and to support all of our business ambitions. We source and supply hundreds of millions of pounds of goods and services across Food, Technical, Marketing, IT, Ports and many other categories, driving value for money, innovation, quality and service throughout our supply chains whilst being custodians of ethical and sustainable sourcing.
