This company is a Building Service (Mechanical and Electrical) company that provides a complete package of managed building services across a number of sectors, including: Retail, Industrial, Commercial, Health, Public Sector and residential throughout the UK. THE ROLE
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the full detailed design & co-ordination of Mechanical Services Projects and Tenders, covering all aspects plumbing, heating, chilled water, above ground drainage, ventilation, air-conditioning, gas & domestic water services. Areas of work covered range from warehouse & office fit out, schools & colleges, hotel & leisure and hospitals. You will be responsible for setting up the CAD drawings, design programmes (Hevacomp Etc) from scratch, producing detailed designs, CP's, Tech-Subs etc from concept to completion, liaising with the estimating & contracts engineers.
THE PERSON
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience in Building Services and an excellent knowledge or Building Regulations. Somebody with knowledge of Hevacomp, Auto-Cad etc and a minimum qualification of HNC in Building Services would be an asset to this company.
