Front End Developer
We have been appointed to lead a search for an experienced Front End Web Developer who is based in the Sussex area. Our client provides innovative technology for commercial buildings that enables intelligent control and monitoring of the environment and energy usage. They are looking for a Permanent (full time) Front End Developer with immediate effect to be based either remotely or in their Mid Sussex offices.
About the Front End Web Developer:
Due to a demand in work load, our client is looking to add to their dynamic and creative team.
We are looking for a passionate Web Application Developer to join a team of creative, coding enthusiasts.
An individual who has the desire to work hard and get recognition from the best in the market.
About the Front End Developers duties:
Responsible for creating new pages for our products following on existing Backbone-based single page applications.
Fix issues, make modifications and add features to existing web applications.
Design and develop any new web based applications required by products or for internal use.
Design your own low complexity graphics (i.e. icons, buttons, etc.).
Liaise with fellow developers in order to work together towards a high standard result.
Update project tracking information to keep records of bugs and project progress.
Responsible for keeping your work safe and up to date in our clients version control system.
The skills required :
You will have proficiency with:
HTML5
CSS3
JavaScript (strong)
jQuery
Design experience (strong)
Experienced in:
Backbone
Responsive design
Model-View-Controller pattern
Front-end design (both UI and UX)
