A full time opportunity has arisen for an established customer in the Antrim area.
Primary Responsibilities:
To load/unload vehicles with the appropriate loads (as per paperwork generated).
To carry out delivery/collection tasks as directed.
To carry out daily/weekly vehicle checks of vehicle roadworthiness as directed by the Transport Manager.
To comply with all UK road usage legislation whilst driving on business.
To carry out driving tasks (i.e. fuelled, booked out and remain in communication with Transport office)
Supporting Responsibilities:
To accurately maintain records of the hours worked on a daily basis (i.e. through the use of the Company's Timeware system).
To comply, as reasonably expected, with all company and official H&SAW regulations.
To comply with all company directives/policies relating to driving/warehouse operations as directed by the Transport/Warehouse Manager.
To administer appropriate duty of care to all products that pass through the warehouse facility.
Appropriate tasks/projects as directed by Transport/Warehouse Manager.
To wash and clean vehicles as operationally required.
To comply with all company directives/policies relating to road transport operations as directed by the Transport Manager.Essential:
Over 25 years of age (insurance purposes)
Driver CPC Qualification Preferred:
Manual Handling training
Clean driving licence
Experience of multi-drop operations with good working knowledge of towns and cities throughout Northern Ireland.
Current certificate in UK National Aviation Security TrainingHours of work:
Monday to Friday 830am-630pm
