Welcome to Richmond Fellowship as a Crisis Recovery Worker.
We’re part of Recovery Focus, a national group of charities highly experienced in providing specialist support services to individuals and families living with the effects of mental ill health, drug and alcohol use, gambling and domestic violence. We know that recovery can look and feel very different to each and every one of us. But we also know that if we provide the right support, at the right time, we can inspire recovery nationwide and that recovery is possible for everyone.
Your challenge? To manage the service’s resources and monitor, develop and share good practice across staff teams to ensure everyone is better equipped to work with a greater range of challenging support needs. We’ll also rely on you to provide high quality support to clients, build positive relationships with multi-disciplinary organisations and make sure that data entry onto our reporting system is accurate and timely
You will be solution focused and outcome driven, you’re great at leading, supervising and motivating others using tact and diplomacy and a firm but inclusive, open style of working. You also have a flair for managing conflicting demands and priorities and a flexible attitude to working hours. A proven track record in a mental health care setting is, of course key, as is a good understanding of recovery and co-production and experience of carrying out investigations and writing reports and recommendations. You will need to be a great listener, with a flexible approach and a flair for planning and prioritising a busy workload. You will enjoy motivating and engaging people in a range of developmental interventions and activities. What’s more, you will have a good understanding of mental health issues and how they affect people and their loved ones.
There are two roles available. Both are permanent positions working 37.5 hours per week. We are recruiting for full time members of staff to cover the Blackpool Wellbeing Centre between the hours of 10:00-22:00, you will need a degree of flexibility where shift work is required on a rota basis including evening and weekends.
The salary for these roles is £18,875.00 per annum.
