We therefore need talented media sales professionals to contribute to our success. As such, we are delighted to announce that the BiP Group are actively recruiting an Exhibition & Sponsorship Sales professional to join their established and highly successful exhibition & sponsorship sales team!
This is an excellent opportunity where you will be reporting directly to the Exhibition Sales Manager / Head of Exhibition Sales . You will be responsible for maximising the value of our full events and exhibitions portfolio which we have grown to over GBP2m in annual revenue.
This is a desk-based sales role where you will be responsible for sourcing and securing your own new business. You will have the opportunity of working with clients and exhibitors in the public and private sector, from a variety of different industry sectors!
The key responsibilities of the role will be to:-
- Work towards and exceed revenue targets through a combination of exhibition and sponsorship sales
- Assume project lead for managing and developing the revenue streams for identified exhibitions within the portfolio
- Source, develop and maintain excellent relationships with exhibitors, sponsors, partners and the wider internal project teams
- Build and maintain knowledge of the wider market and use this information to leverage revenue.
- On-site attendance at identified exhibitions
As the successful candidate you will demonstrate experience of:-
- Strong B2B new business sales experience within a desk-based sales environment
- Proven track record of success in target achievement
- Knowledge of operating within the B2B/ media sales market is highly beneficial
- Expert knowledge of the sales process
- Business-to-Government experience desirable but not essential
- Industry sector knowledge in any of the following areas???.Public Sector - Housing; Health; Education; Construction or Defence???..would be beneficial
