Extrastaff are recruiting for Night Shift Class 2 Drivers for a busy distribution company. Working out of a large depot, located in Bridgwater, Somerset, this role is ongoing and full time. Extrastaff pay weekly and offer flexible shifts.
Drivers are paid GBP11.66 per hour PAYE. Alternatively, there is a GBP14.09 hourly rate if your preferred payroll method is via a payroll company, inclusive of holiday pay.
The role involves making up to five drops, per shift, to small units with palletised stock. Drivers are required to load and unload their own vehicles using a pump truck and tail-lift. The work can be physical, at times. The Sub depots are based within a 20 mile radius of the main depot location. Shifts operate Sunday to Friday nights, with start times between 21:00 & 01:00 with finish times the following morning, between 07:30 and 11:00. Drivers should be flexible with timings.
All Drivers are paid a minimum of 8 hours per shift. Applicants should have no more than six penalty points. Newly passed Drivers are welcome and will undergo an assessment prior to starting.
