QA Engineer (Automation)

QA Engineer (Automation - C#, Selenium, SpecFlow)/Maidenhead/GBP40k - GBP50k

A FinTech Company based in Maidenhead are looking to for a QA Engineer to join their growing Test practice.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborating with the Director of Technology, Product department, Developers, DevOps and other QAs to contribute to the testing and quality assurance of different microservices using technologies/tools
• Advocating and continuing to maintain an automated Test Driven Development (TDD) and Behaviour Driven Development (BDD) approach with all software solutions
• Document and maintain robust test plans for each of the microservices along with end to end integration test scenarios
• Write and execute robust test scripts, attaining a high percentage of test automation and regression within CI/CD pipelines
• Manual exploratory testing and maintenance of a clear manual test plan for any test scenarios that can't be automated
• Review logs and databases as part of the testing process, and automate this where possible
• Ensuring that the QA team following industry best practices by using qualitive and quantitative

Experience:

• Professional level (3+ years' experience) as a QA Engineer within a modern software environment
• Experience using Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery build and deployment
• Experienced using Selenium and WebdriverIO for Front End testing
• Experienced using SpecFlow and Postman for Back End testing
