UI/UX Product Designer - Contract - Remote

Harvey Nash are working with a household name who are looking to add a UI/UX Product Designer to the team.

As this client continues their major technology transformation, they need a Product Designer who is able to come in and be flexible with their changing needs and demands as a business to get them over the line.

Day to day you will be:

• Designing and collaborating on user research to inform UX/UI work on Mobile (Apple iOS and Android), Web and CRM products.

• Producing wireframes, UX flows, low fidelity mock-ups, interactive prototypes, and design specifications.

• Take prototype designs into full hi-fidelity production ready visuals.

• Collaborating with engineers to deliver new feature enhancements.

• Working with the Product Owner, brand, insight, and technology product teams to understand the needs of our customers and users to turn them into deliverable features.

Key skills required:

• Proven experience of designing UX/UI experiences for mobile app, websites, and CRM activity.

• Experience of working in a similar role in a consumer-facing digital product team, ideally within a major retailer

• Have significant experience designing award winning digital work for desktop, tablet and mobile

• Have a detailed knowledge of UX and User-Centred Design practices and the proven ability to use the appropriate methods and tools to create usable and delightful experiences.

• Experience in Front End development using the latest technologies.

• Has a portfolio demonstrating thoughtful problem-solving skills and design excellence.

• Is adept at using qualitative and quantitative data and insight to inform design thinking.

This role has been determined as inside IR35 and can be worked remotely or in office to suit.
