Robert Half has been selected to recruit a Digital Marketing Paid Social Manager for a client, based in Leicester, who is a fast-growing tech company that provides commerce solutions to a wide range of UK and International B2B and Retail eCommerce clients.

Key Responsibilities of the Digital Marketing Paid Social Manager

You will head the Social Media Marketing department and be responsible for the management of Paid Social accounts and campaigns across Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, Pinterest Ads, LinkedIn Ads, YouTube Ads and other social media platforms, across a diverse range of clients who operate within global international markets.

  • Ultimately responsible for the growth and sustained performance of Paid Social campaigns for the clients
  • Take ownership of Paid Social channels for a range of B2B and B2C clients against measurable KPIs
  • Provide account and industry analysis and strategic insight on putting forth recommendations to drive continued growth the Paid Social channels in which our clients operate.
  • Provide benchmarking and performance reports
  • Outstanding attention to detail on creating high quality advertisements, compliance checks and testing.
  • Experience building and managing Paid Social campaigns for a wide range of objectives across B2C and B2B
  • Liaise with internal teams on how to maximise Paid Social efforts for own brands
  • Be involved in client email, phone and face to face/video meetings
  • Identifying new opportunities for introducing Paid Social channels across the wider portfolio of clients, working closely with the rest of the marketing team on cross-selling/up-selling social media marketing services, as well as spotting new trends across emerging platforms such as TikTok and capitalising on those
  • Supporting internal marketing and sales team to develop marketing collateral for expanding the Social Media department.
  • Overseeing and developing comprehensive Social Media marketing strategies across both Paid and Organic and across a variety of platforms.
  • Running Social Media Marketing audits for existing and new marketing clients to identify new opportunities for growth
  • Overseeing the training of the wider team into relevant Social Media Marketing tactics
  • Keeping up to date with the latest industry trends and sharing these internally, as well as developing new Social Media Marketing services where applicable.
  • Responsible for setting up new social media accounts from scratch across organic and paid, as well as setting up Social Commerce features, such as Facebook shop, Pinterest shop, and more, and supporting clients during the set-up process and troubleshooting any issues with catalogues, feeds, tracking pixels and more.

Highly Preferential in a candidate would be:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in digital and social marketing
  • Have appropriate certifications and training for Facebook and Instagram Ads, Pinterest Ads, LinkedIn Ads and more.
  • Analytical and mathematical leanings, as well as an eye for the best creative assets
  • Experience analysing data, creating insights and recommendations and producing reports
  • High degree of competence in Excel and experienced user of Google Analytics, as well as the platform's own analytics and management platforms (Facebook Ads Manager, Pinterest Ads Manager, LinkedIn Ads Manager, etc)
  • High numeracy, statistical and literacy abilities.
  • Very results-driven, customer orientated and commercially focused
  • Excellent communication and follow up skills and able to flex your style to deal with MD to junior levels, and handle direct client communications
  • Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail to work efficiently to provide accurate and outstanding results
  • Have a can-do attitude and a hunger to succeed
  • Work well under pressure and to targets, goals and deadlines
  • Agency-side experience is a bonus
  • Google Analytics Advanced certification is a bonus
  • Must be located a commutable distance to Leicester City Centre HQ

Salary & Benefits:

  • GBP28,000 - GBP35,000
