Facilities and Maintenance Engineer

Photocentric Group is an award-winning manufacturer based in Phoenix, AZ, US and the UK. We are innovators of 3D printers, resin and worldwide leaders of craft stamp manufacturing.

With the development of two new Peterborough sites, we now have a fantastic opportunity for a multi-skilled Facilities and Maintenance Engineer to work across multiple sites. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to take on responsibility for managing and performing preventative maintenance across factory floor equipment and building infrastructure.

Responsibilities of our Facilities and Maintenance Engineer include:

- Performing reactive maintenance on mechanical, electrical and building services as and when required, including production line equipment.

- Documenting and recording standard maintenance procedures as they are carried out

- Aiding in the planning, specification, and installation of services for new building projects

- Installing facilities and production lines when required

- Ensuring electrical safety across the business

- Ensuring a full stock of critical spare parts are kept

- Maintaining and operating a CMMS system (or familiarity with CMMS systems)

- Consistently monitoring continues improvement

- Keeping abreast of new regulations, H&S and relevant changes

- Line managing a small team of maintenance engineers

Experience and skills required for our Facilities and Maintenance Engineer:

- Proven experience of multi-skilled maintenance within manufacturing

- Experience of maintenance management

- The ability to plan and implement prevention procedures

- Familiarity with 18th Edition wiring regulations

- Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Electrotechnical Services or a Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Installing Electrotechnical Systems & Equipment or equivalent

- Excellent computer literacy including Excel, Word and Outlook

- A hands-on approach

- Full UK driving licence

- Experience of supervising staff is desirable

- Confident when liaising and negotiating with to suppliers and tradesmen

- Experience with managing budgets

- Previous experience in setting up new sites/facilities is desirable
