Extrastaff are recruiting for Night Shift Class 2 Drivers for a busy distribution company. Working out of a large depot, located in Hemel Hempstead, this role is ongoing and full time. Extrastaff pay weekly and offer flexible shifts.
Drivers are paid up to GBP13.81 per hour, PAYE with a Sunday morning shift also available at GBP14.25 each week. We also offer a rate between GBP16.41 - GBP16.80 per hour via a payroll company, should that be a preferred method.
The role involves making up to five drops, per shift, to small units with palletised stock. Drivers are required to load and unload their own vehicles using a pump truck and tail-lift. The work can be physical, at times. The Sub depots are based within a 20 mile radius of the main depot location. Shifts operate Sunday to Friday nights, with start times between 21:00 & 01:00 with finish times the following morning, between 07:30 and 11:00. Drivers should be flexible with timings.
All Drivers are paid a minimum of 8 hours per shift. Applicants should have no more than six penalty points. Newly passed Drivers are welcome and will undergo an assessment prior to starting. This role comes with the opportunity to take a permanent contract, after twelve weeks. The company has expansion plans throughout 2021 and in to next year.
