Nationwide travel is sometimes necessary.
Sales of printing machinery into new and existing customers nationwide is also needed for this role.

Our client has many years of production and service experience, with an established reputation in its specific field. With a reputation for quality and solidity the company makes machines for a wide range of sectors, priding itself on understanding both the markets and its customers' needs.
Due to expansion and a healthy order book, the company has a requirement for an experienced senior level Service Engineer who is looking for career progression into a Service Manager role.
The Role
Ideally, the company is seeking an experienced Service Engineer who is electrically biased but also has strong mechanical skills. The candidate must have an excellent technical knowledge, a confident manner and be willing to travel with their work.
Key Responsibilities
* Daily diagnostic testing, troubleshooting and repair of customer equipment at HQ and on customer sites.
* Installation and commissioning of new equipment.
* Management and mentoring of other Service Engineers.
* Maintain and enhance customer relationships.
* Produce timely and accurate service reports.
* Ensure all calls are attended promptly and within set SLA.
* Identifying commercial opportunities and promoting the business
* Ensure compliance with set HSSE guidelines.
Required Skills
* Electrical Engineering HNC/HND (equivalent) or relevant experience
* A good level of Mechanical Engineering experience
* Confident in the use of hand tools
* Strong customer service skills with ability to interact confidently and professionally with end customer.
* Good sales experience
* Flexible approach with the ability to work alone or as part of a team.
* Leadership skills and good communication skills
* PLC / Control compitence
* Good experience with industrial printing machines
The Rewards

They are willing to pay a competitive starting salary of GBP35-50,000 per annum plus a company vehicle, credit card and discretionary bonus.
