  • Provide leadership and support to operational teams to ensure delivery of department objectives.
  • Timely preparation & delivery of tender & quotation submissions.
  • Project planning, organisation & service delivery.
  • Manage the booking in of works via our bespoke 'Works Scheduling' system.
  • Ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget & to contract specification.
  • Management of on-site Health & Safety to include preparation & submission of RAMS.
  • Liaising with the client, maintaining good relations, & ensuring that any agreed remedials are completed to the client's satisfaction.
  • Responsibility for the financial performance of all projects, including resource scheduling & procurement.
  • Pre-mobilisation site inspection and survey including risk assessments and site-specific instructions.
  • Day to Day responsibility for the Operations Team, including appraisals and inductions.
  • Full P & L responsibility
  • Provision of detailed monthly service delivery and forecast reports for review by company directors.
  • Research and implement new ways of working to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Build a network of reliable sub-contractors & suppliers to assist when required with programme delivery.
  • Regular review sub-contractor and supplier pricing & performance.
  • Manage equipment, machinery & vehicle allocation to include service & repairs

Key Skills and Behaviours:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in Operations Management.
  • Exceptional Industry Supply Chain experience.
  • Business & Budget Management.
  • Experience in Soft Landscaping or Grounds Maintenance, good plant knowledge.
  • Financially literate with experience of managing projects and resources in line with budgets.
  • An understanding of the practical, technical, financial, & qualitative requirements of a project.
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills - Multi service company so needs to be able to spin plates.
  • Determination to deliver a high quality and reliable service with a 'Right First Time' approach.
  • Dynamic and able to move with the times within a fast-paced growing company
