Do you have a strong background in administration or ecommerce? Are you experienced in copywriting, content writing, photo/image editing and SEO? If so, our client in Chelmsford is currently recruiting for an Ecommerce Administrator and we want hear from you!

The candidate will be responsible for keeping products up to date on our e-commerce websites, including category/product descriptions, photos, improvements, and ensuring prices are updated. The successful candidate will be working with our order progress and marketing teams.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Keeping our websites up to date with new products, working with our marketing team to optimise our google rankings
• Completing pricing audits
• Uploading prices to the websites
• Working with sales and marketing team to get the products up and running ASAP
• Copywriting effective descriptions by ensuring products optimised
• Regularly refreshing content using Magento/other CMS platform
• Speaking with suppliers by phone/email to check on product queries to obtain resources as needed
• Pricing and web audits - including competition analysis, liaising and negotiating with suppliers, reviewing the website and keeping information up to date.

Key Skills & Experiences:

• Experience in copywriting, editing images, and displaying content with excellent attention to detail
• Experience using an e-commerce solution
• Ideally some experience of best practice SEO
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Good punctuality and time management
• Ability to take initiative and to work under pressure with minimal supervision
