HR Technical Specialist - FTC

An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a HR Technical Specialist. The successful candidate will lead, deliver & develop the integrated HR and Payroll solution & reporting activities within the HR & OD Service, to support the delivery of strategic & operational activities.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Act as the system expert, lead elements of the day to day maintenance, utilisation & optimisation of the HR&OD suite of technological solutions.
• Undertake a lead project role in the delivery of the Digital Enablers Programme. This will encompass the full end to end process from procurement to implementation.
• Use specialist knowledge & experience ensure operational efficiency & increased organisational performance in respect of system functionality, reporting, associated processes and procurement & implementation of new technology. This includes ensuring optimal use of new practices including digital technology.
• As directed, lead & ensure delivery of organisational reporting requirements through scheduled, batched & bespoke reporting & trend analysis, acting as a key liaison for data.

Skills & Experience required:

• Significant experience of maintaining & developing relevant systems & processes
• Significant experience of developing system functionality & reporting requirements
• Relevant experience of BI tools & report writing
• Extensive experience of building & using databases/reporting tools; proven experience in manipulation & analysis of large volumes of data
• Track record of successful & relevant project management, where innovative solutions have been delivered within a large complex organisation
• Relevant experience of delivering measurable & visible improvements in service quality & fostering a strong customer service
• Successful track record of attention to detail, including success in posts requiring systematic approaches to presenting complex data analysis with total accuracy
