A newly created role has arisen for an experienced and conscientious HR Advisor who has strong employee relations experience and enjoys working on HR projects. This role is working as part of a large scale transformational culture change programme joining a busy and commercially focused HR team.
Duties and responsibilities will include;
• Supporting the HR Business Partner and key stakeholders in the development of effective and robust business cases and the appropriate people strategies needed to implement those that are approved.
• Provide effective coaching, advice and support to Line Managers on implementing change initiatives effectively.
• Support the delivery of interventions to reduce the occurrence of employee relations cases.
• Support business transformations and change projects including collective and individual consultations, redeployment, 121 meetings, redundancy calculations and dismissal meetings.
• Review and approve documentation drafted by the HR Services Team to be delivered to employees.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the HR function, making improvements to processes to ensure they are efficient to ensure we continue to provide an excellent service.
Key skills and experience required;
• Proven experience advising on complex and high volume Employee Relations cases including grievance, disciplinary and attendance management.
• Excellent knowledge of UK employment law.
• Demonstrable experience working within a fast-paced, multi-site organisation.
• Experience in identifying and effectively managing risk in change proposals.
• Able to build strong working relationships/networks with all stakeholders and maintain a high degree of integrity.
• CIPD Level 5 ideally • Proficient in the use of an HR system
Please note this role is being offered initially on the basis of a 12 month fixed term contract.
