Joiner/Kitchen Fitter
Location: Wythenshawe
Shifts: Monday-Friday
7:30am-4:30pm
Pay: GBP140 per day
Our client based in Wythenshawe is a manufacturer of furniture. As they have seen a growth in their business they are looking for a joiner/assembler to join their team.You will report to the Manufacturing manager, and your main role will be to assemble the products in the client's varied portfolio, prior to being sent for installation on site.
The role includes:
Building/assembling furniture
Manufacturing the products to client specifications using chop saws/drills/tools
Adhering to health and safety standards
Following the housekeeping standard set by the senior management
Following manufacturing drawings
The ideal candidate:
Is a time served handy man in a similar field
Has experience using hand and power tools
Has a good knowledge and understanding of health and safety
Has knowledge of manufacturing methods
Has experience using chop saws
Ability to communicate with colleagues on all levels
Strong attention to detail
