PRSim is a property services partner for private and institutional Private Rented Sector (PRS) investors, offering an end-to-end PRS & Build to Rent data, consultancy and operational management solution. A new position has arisen within the department to assist the block management and compliance function. Providing support to the Buildings Manager on residential and mixed use PRS developments and ensuring the effective management of the block portfolio including Health & Safety obligations. You will be responsible for ensuring the very highest level of service across the portfolio, meeting client expectations and tactically supporting the strategic direction being taken by the business. In addition you will also work closely with the Conduct and Policy Manager for oversight of the department's general compliance to ensure that we are reporting highest standards in this area.
Main Accountabilities
- Gaining a thorough knowledge and understanding of each building and major works requirements
- Overseeing all planned and routine maintenance and compliance of the blocks we manage, dealing with applicable invoices where appropriate.
- Approving expenditure where required
- Liaising with Property Managers and their Clients in respect of such planned maintenance and compliance
- Responding to internal and external queries and complaints.
- Carrying out an audit function to ensure statutory compliance is 100% (for both blocks and wider department)
- Identifying preventative maintenance, agreeing service levels and ensuring best use of contractors
- Reviewing and actioning risk assessments and other compliance related reports
- Assisting the Block Manager to prepare annual budgets
- Initiating insurance claims and recharge costs
- Undertaking site inspections where required
Knowledge and Experience Required
- The successful candidate will have existing knowledge of a property management system such as TRAMPs, Qube or Yardi
- Computer literate - conversant with micro-soft office, estimating software, spreadsheets, CAD and estimating packages.
- Block management / property management experience and IRPM qualified
- ARLA / ARMA qualified

- Balance of working from home and in our offices in Exeter - therefore ability to work as part of a team and individually is important
- Normal working hours apply however there will be a requirement to work flexibly as business needs dictate.
- Potential for some UK travel
