Cleaning Supervisor
Our Prestigious Client is looking for a Cleaning Supervisor
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The post holder will lead a flexible team to provide a high quality professional and comprehensive cleaning service to all facilities.
DUTIES:
* Maintain and supervise the performance of cleaning staff. This will include training and arrangements of duty rotas and cover arrangements
* Liaise with the FM Coordinator to help provide cover for overtime, annual leave, absence etc and complete relevant staff spreadsheets
* Allocation of work and quality control, check work schedules and resolve problems. Assist in the compliance with the site waste management procedures
* Ensure that procedures and practices are adhered to i.e. Health & Safety and COSHH
* Ensure that the cleanliness of the site is maintained to the required standards liaising with the FM Coordinator on completion of quality audits
* Check all equipment is clean in good working order reporting any faults to the FM Coordinator
* Ensure safe working methods and report all accidents and incidents as appropriate
* Ensure efficient stock control, usage of materials and complete stock spreadsheets
* Respond to any helpdesk calls efficiently and on time as may be directed from time to time by the FM Coordinator
* Any other duties assigned by the FM Coordinator in conjunction with operational requirements
* Work with other members of the FM team in the best interests of the company
* Maintain an awareness of policies, procedures and objectives related to the successful delivery of the administration and helpdesk service
* To carry out any other office duties assigned by the Management Team as the role evolves.
* To be responsible for weekly team talks, distribution of tool box talks and other management updates
* To implement helpdesk instructions directed by the FM Coordinator and/or Site Manager
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
* General cleaning experience
* Previous supervisory experience desirable but not essential
* Experience working within facilities management is desirable
