About the role:
Working with Critical Risk owners from around the business, the role of the Critical Risks Co-ordinator is to drive improvements in the risk profile of our critical assets.
You will develop and maintain processes and reporting to support the management of critical asset risk. Management information and analysis will target technical compliance, inspections, and mitigation action plans. Reporting will include coordination of numeric and qualitative responses from risk owners.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Develop and maintain a register of critical assets, documenting the preventative inspection and maintenance as well as the investment plans for reactive repair and replacement.
  • Produce a monthly corporate performance report of critical risk to be presented to the Executive.
  • Develop a critical risk reporting process with insight-driven KPI data such as Inspections, Backlogs, Assurance.
  • Investigate, identify, and develop improvements (including any systemisation opportunities) for critical risk reporting.
  • Coordinate the inputs to the monthly critical risk report from the risk owners.
  • Capture emerging potential critical risks and highlight them in the reporting.
  • Build strong relationships with Engineering and Operations functions and across the wider business.
To be successful, you will have the following skills and experience:
  • Degree qualified or equivalent
  • Strong analytical background
  • Strong IT skills (Excel, Powerpoint, PowerBI)
  • Very high attention to detail
  • Good technical communication skills
  • Proactive approach
  • Awareness of Water Industry operating processes is beneficial
  • Strong influencing skills, highly organised with a strong drive and problem-solving approach
  • Travel to key business sites will be required and therefore a full driving licence is essential
