Required is a Team Leader for Kirklees Council to manager a team of 11 Housing Officers carrying out Estate Based Housing Management Tasks currently working remotely from home

Function of the team includes but is not limited to:

Estate Management including Environmental Inspections on site, Communal land and green spaces , community cohesion and the management of safe and sustainable communities

Housing Management , including Tenancy management , Anti-social Behaviour at individual properties or within communities , Vulnerable Adults and Children, Property and Garden conditions and the viewing and sign up of Empty Homes , consultation and community engagement , Cllr and MP enquiries and Multi-Agency working with other partners

the Team leader is Responsible for the day to day management of the team , the team performance, Health, Safety and Wellbeing, absence management and resourcing and cover planning . Providing support and guidance including case supervision through a 121 and PDR Process . Overseeing complaints and compliments, dealing with poor performance and supporting responses to Cllr's MP's other officers , colleague and partners and working on Multi-Agency work.

The role will be based in an existing team alongside other Team leaders and responsible to the General Manager however will be based as a home worker, with some requirements to travel to site and attend appointments if necessary and in line with the Government Guidance around CV-19
