Opportunity:

We have a fantastic opportunity within our Rail business unit for an ambitious and talented HR & Training Coordinator.

The HR & Training Coordinator will establish position as first point of contact for HR and training enquiries and provide timely and effective administrative support to the HR business partner/ Training Manager and all business unit employees.

The Coordinator will provide a comprehensive development and training service to the business unit and contribute to the overall provision of development and training solutions within the business. Assist with the HR Administration duties within the business unit.

The person:

  • Experience of working within a training function
  • Able to work confidentially with sensitive company information
  • Previous training co-ordination experience desirable
  • Good communications skills and organisational skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Good persuasive and influencing skills and the ability to build relationships with people at all levels
  • Educated to minimum A Level or equivalent in a business-related discipline
  • Working knowledge of company HR procedures and policies
  • IT literate
  • Familiarity with Training/HR databases and systems
  • Experience of providing advice and guidance within a support function
