It is a permanent and full-time position - you will be teaching KS3 + KS4 with potential of teaching KS5 if you are interested in this!

The Humanities Department in the Secondary School is well-established, and the large team of 'Good' and 'Outstanding' Teachers will be there to support you throughout your Geography NQT year, relieving the stress and allowing you to share resources, planning etc.

The Head Teacher is specifically looking for a Geography NQT as they are keen to seek an enthusiastic and passionate individual who can bring fresh ideas to the team and make a real difference!

• Open to Geography NQTs - must be gaining QTS by September 2021

Person Specification -Geography NQT

• Graded 'Good' or 'Outstanding' in recent lesson observations
• Must hold UK QTS by September 2021 and have experience of teaching in British schools
• Strong academic background - GCSE, A Level and Humaities Degree
• Willing to work as part of a large team and make a difference
• Ambitious Geography NQT who is looking to progress in their career and develop their teaching skills
• Have the aim of raising attainment whilst keeping Geography lessons engaging and exciting
