Reporting to the Senior Post Market Quality Manager, the EMEA Field Action Post Market Quality Supervisor, will be responsible for the day to day operational activities of the EMEA Centre of Excellence (CoE) for Field Actions within the EMEA region.

Main responsibilities will include:
  • Manage the process for the reviewing and documenting regional Field Action assessments, liaising with the Corporate Post Market Quality function. Collaboration is also expected with other key functions such as EMEA Marketing, Customer Service, Technical Services and Distribution/Supply Chain etc., where required in order to complete the Field Action assessment.
  • Manage the initiation process for Field Actions in EMEA.
  • Create EMEA specific Field Action documentation, including the strategy, customer and/or distributor letters and ensure internal approval of the letter/s by appropriate partners.
  • Coordinate the translation process for Field Actions letters, either using a 3rd party vendor or internal BD associates; and work with identified Country Post Market Quality Leaders for the impacted regions/ countries to ensure subsequent proof-reading and regionalisation of the letter.
  • Liaise with Regulatory Agencies to initiate Field Actions within EMEA and will assist with enquires from EMEA Regulatory Agencies in relation to Field Actions.
  • Produce the EMEA Field Action monthly report and circulate to Country Post Market Quality Leaders; co-ordinate monthly Country Post Market Quality calls with Country Post Market Quality Leaders and manage feedback from these calls, escalating as appropriate.
  • Manage and maintain the EMEA Field Action SharePoint site and provide additional administrative support duties.
  • Coach and educate new associates in the EMEA Field Action process.
  • Support the on-going review and evolution of the CoE to ensure the process is comprehensive, efficient and reflective of best practice within BD and within the Medical Device industry. The job holder will also support implementing the requirements of the MDR and the IVDR and any other EMEA regulatory requirements in relation to Field Actions.
  • Undertake any other duties as requested by the Senior Manager, Post Market Quality to support the EMEA Field Action CoE and the wider Post Market Quality organisation.
About you

You will have experience of handling multiple Field Actions/projects, and regulator/NCA engagement gained within a regulated environment in Quality or Regulatory (preferable within medical devices) with previous experience of leading/managing a team or project. You will have strong interpersonal skills and be comfortable working within a team environment. Good organisational skills is a must as is IT literacy (word, excel, sharepoint etc.).
