Senior Data Analyst - Permanent - Glasgow - Salary GBP36,000 + benefits

What you will be working on:

Responsible for all aspects of Data Management, ensuring that it is collected, stored, and interpreted correctly and transformed into valuable management information that can be used to improve business operations, foster data-driven decision making and ensure there are accurate, relevant reports in place for all stakeholder groups. As with all posts in City Property there will be a need for cross-functional working and flexibility to deliver the organisation's Business Plan.

Who you will be working for:

You'll be working for an organisation which provide for the management, development, and disposal of one of the largest local authority services in Scotland's Non- Operational Surplus Land and Property Assets as well as providing management services for the authority's longer- term commercial ground leases.

The organisation was specifically established to acquire the local authority's non-operational investment portfolio in March 2010. The portfolio extends to around 2,000 commercial properties across a range of sectors including industrial, retail, office, and ground leases. The leases for the markets at Blochairn are managed by the Investment LLP.

What you will need:

You will be a strong influencer who is self-motivated with excellent communication skills and can evidence a proven track record within the field of data analysis and production of management reports to aid business critical decision making. You will understand data (collection, analysis, records management, distribution etc.) and be able to devise and implement efficient and secure procedures for data handling and analysis with attention to all technical aspects. You will have the ability to establish rules and procedures for data sharing with senior management, external stakeholders etc. and support others in the daily use of data systems and ensure adherence to legal and company standards

The following would also be an advantage:

• Basic understanding of accounting function and transactions
• Previous experience working in a commercial property environment
• Project exposure familiar with the Lean methodology and can evidence ability to apply
• Experience of generating reports from various Databases/systems and preferably within a property business
