Splunk Consultant - Security Cleared

I am currently looking for a Splunk Consultant to work for a global IT service provider to work on an initial 3-month contract based in Bracknell.

* For this role a national security clearance is required, but people without this will be considered*

The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and hands-on implementation of Splunk Enterprise with Enterprise Security in a secure, on-premise deployment:

• Hands-on skills for installing and configuring a resilient Splunk deployment.
• On-boarding of a wide range of common log sources.
• Configuration of custom log sources not supported by Splunk 'out of the box'.
• Use of the Common Information Model for normalising log source content.
• Configuration of Searches, Reports, Alerts and Dashboards.

Additionally, the you should be able to demonstrate:

The ability to write coherent, concise, and readable technical documentation and have experience of undertaking design and deployment for major IT systems
