Working for a global FMCG company we are looking for a Data Strategy Lead to help support them in their Digital Transformation.

This Digital Transformation is going to enhance their ability to leverage data at scale so it delivers relevant, personalised and timely communications to their consumers, which can be optimised in Real Time, across the full marketing funnel to drive growth and ROI of digital media. As part of this commitment, their UK and Ireland business are looking for a driven, and skilled Consumer Data Strategy and Operations Lead.

Critical to the success of delivering Data Driven Marketing at scale is the ability to transform their data landscape to enable them to provide a unified view of the consumer.

This allows them to:
develop better insight around consumer behaviour and interactions,
devise better measurement techniques to assess impact from our marketing,
optimise our campaigns in-flight through a closed data loop to sales or equity.

You will champion and adopt an energetic, adaptive way of working in order to learn and scale success. You will be empowered to lead and make decisions that drive key business outcomes.

Key responsibilities
Build the UK&I Consumer Data Strategy; continuously optimising and evolving according to market conditions;
Own the delivery of the UKI Consumer Data Strategy through our Digital Hub teams, demonstrating success against key metrics;
Drive and land strategic audiences in brand campaigns and marketing activities;
Articulate the value of Consumer Data in terms of costs and value driven through different sources of data; then look to improve that ratio, bringing down costs and maximising ROI;
Lead the Consumer Data Operations for the UKI ensuring processes and ways of working are optimal and GDPR compliant;
Own the roadmap for UKI Data Capabilities according to our UKI Data Strategy;
Own and drive a data test & learn agenda to understand the value of your data pool and optimise your UKI consumer data strategy;

What you bring
Demonstrable experience in developing consumer data strategies;
Demonstrable experience in leading management of consumer data;
Understanding of data and ad tech stacks (eg Adobe Marketing Cloud, Google Ad Cloud)
Demonstrable experience of leveraging consumer data in ad operations, digital media buying or similar experience gained within digital marketing and advertising;
Passion for technology and data, and its application to marketing and advertising, as well as a high degree of tech savviness;
Experience in Digital Media ad operations, with an understanding of the ad tech ecosystem
Highly numerate with a detailed approach to work, with excellent analytical skills ability and appreciation for Datamodelling
Structured, clear communicator.
BSC undergraduate degree is a bonus.
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and manage multiple stakeholders.
