Construction Project Administrator
Construction Project Administrator required for a construction business based in the Staindrop area. This is a full-time, permanent role.
Supporting the Construction Manager in the supervision of on-site contractors and staff to ensure quality and delivery of each phase of the project is on schedule.
Supporting the Project Team in meeting and compliance with all conditions relating to planning and listed building consents.
Taking minutes of delivery meetings, scheduling appointments and tracking progress against actions
Cost monitoring against budget, measurement of works and seeking approvals and processing of invoices.
Ordering / arranging for delivery of materials where applicable.
Processing of staff timesheet and other employee data.
Liaising with the Raby Estate finance team to provide accurate and timely financial information.
Supervision of purchase order system.
Administration of insurance requirements as directed by the Construction Manager.
Administration of Health and Safety on site, including updating of Health and Safety File, RAMS, contractors insurances and inductions, etc.
Work in collaboration with an appointed Health and Safety consultant to maintain safe working practices and environment.
Maintaining the Construction Phase Health and Safety Plan and all relevant documents.
Any other duties as and when required by the Construction Manager or Project Leader.
Applicants should have experience in financial and business administration with strong IT skills. Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel and accounting software is an important requirement. Familiarity with standard construction management software would be an advantage. The ability to work on your own initiative, as well as being part of a team and being able to communicate well with others at all levels in a helpful and professional manner is essential.

GBP24,000 per annum
