Our client is an exciting tech-firm who are working on the latest in wearable tech for emergency services across the UK and Worldwide.Their suite of software products offer solutions for clients across PC, Mobile and Cloud platforms.
Testing of software solutions/applications to ensure that the integrated suite of products meet the requirements, are consistent in look and feel and are free of defects
Troubleshoot and diagnose integration issues across the suite and beyond.
Devising, writing, maintaining and execution of Test cases (manual and automated)
Being an active participant in all Agile ceremonies
Become a subject matter expert for the Suite.
Profile description:
Must have
o A formal qualification (Degree) in Computing Science or equivalent numerate qualification
o 3+ years experience of commercial software testing
o Experience of Java or C#
Desirable
o Knowledge of Agile methodologies
o ISTQB certification
o Knowledge of source code management technologies (eg GIT, SubVersion etc.)
o Knowledge of software development/issue tracking systems (eg Jira, MS DevOps etc.)
o Experience with Smartphone testing (either Android or iOS)
o Experience with automated test frameworks (eg Selenium, Appium, Cypress etc.)
o Experience with web service technologies (eg SOAP, REST, JSON etc)
o Create/maintain scripts to perform repetitive tasks (Powershell, Bash, etc)
