We have an amazing new opportunity available for a Training Advisor to join our client a market leading Food Manufacturer based at their Head Office in Birmingham working alongside and supporting the Head of Learning & Development for the wider business.

Purpose of the Role:

The role is primarily responsible for the central coordination, administration and communication of training and development data including accurate recording, trends and post programme evaluation. You will support our central online learning programmes including development of learning pathways and oversee the completion of learning modules.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

* Proactive analysis of L&D data fields, costs, trends and post programme feedback etc.

* Co-ordinate and collate evaluation of completed training and development activities.

* Responsible for group eLearning and the co-ordination of online eLearning training data

* Practical hands-on design of key skill factory-based toolbox talk material.

* Confident to deliver salaried induction programmes for central based positions - virtual and classroom based.

* Maintain and develop salaried onboarding induction material and track completion of key stages.

* Design key skill learning pathways and organise and/or facilitate external/internal training courses/providers when required.

* Develop and maintain learning & development communication on company intranet.

* Play an active role in the co-ordination and delivery of Graduate and Industrial Placement training interventions.

* Assist in content design and maintenance of L&D presentations and support material.

* Be the main point of contact for external bodies to maximise outputs from external training contracts. e.g. National Skills Academies, IGD etc.

You will be a motivated self-starter who is proficient in IT & Microsoft packages particularly excel and PowerPoint and have previously worked in an L&D position or similar people focussed environment. You will be an excellent communicator with the ability to communicate with people on all levels.
