Protec Camerfield is Protec Fire and Security Group's company that specialises in sprinklers, water mist and gas suppression.
At Camerfield we have an opportunity for a Sprinkler and Water Mist Estimator. Ideally we require the successful candidate to be based in the North West of England, although we will consider applicants from any UK locations, if their skills, knowledge and experience are suitable for the position requirements.
As Sprinkler and Water Mist Estimator, you will provide comprehensive support as part of a busy sprinkler & water mist estimating team. Working with clients and engineers you will plan and organise works from the order stage through to completion ensuring client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Estimate works in mechanical water mist and sprinkler aspects of the company
Write tendering and supporting documentation for quoted projects
Liaising with clients for information relating to the project tendering
Be able to complete full QSORs for the project
Liaise between sales team and general management
Able to approve costings to general managers
Talk to suppliers to get equipment costs
Have the ability to talk to clients in depth of the system and equipment being offered in tender and attend meetings if required
Plot out sprinkler heads and pipe routes to tender projects
Requirements
LPCB Qualified
Experience of working in a similar role within the Fire Protection industry.

Excellent oral and written communication skills
Competent using Microsoft Office packages including Word, Excel, Outlook and Access
Ability to confidently deal with difficult and stressful situations
Ability to maintain accurate records
Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team
Ability to communicate effectively with staff at varying levels throughout the company
Salary/package is dependent on experience and company policy is to promote internally
