Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineer

We are currently looking for experienced Air Conditioning Fitters/Engineers to work for one of our clients on a long-term basis in Wiltshire

The client is a world leader in the manufacture, modification and servicing of specialist products for the rail industry.

The main duties will include the following: -

Complete removal of components
Testing and fault finding on existing and new equipment
Replacement of faulty components
Repair of faulty equipment
Re-build of equipment
Fitting of controls and equipment
General pipework
Re-gassing of units

Successful candidates will be experienced Air Conditioning/HVAC Engineers used to working on fault diagnosis, repair and maintenance of smaller scale equipment. It is essential that applicants can read and understand diagrams

Previous experience of working on HVAC units on rail rolling stock would be useful but is not essential as applications will be considered from anyone with previous air conditioning/HVAC experience

It is essential that candidates have a recognised relevant qualification and hold a safe handling of refrigerants certificate. Ideally they will be able to braze coper pipework
