Demand Planner - Grimsby - upto GBP33,000pa + Company Benefits
Chase & Holland are proud to be working with a renowned sector-leading business based in the Grimsby area who are currently recruiting a Demand Planner to join their growing team. This role will be accountable for forecasting activities associated with customers and products and the subsequent effectiveness of inventory across the supply chain operation. The purpose of the role is to build a forward visibility of future customer requirements and help guide the decision-making process to guide purchasing decisions and achieve overall pre-determined targets.
Demand Planner Responsibilities:
Manage the Customer Demand Planning process, liaising daily with the customer demand planners and internal site planning team
Manage and maintain the creation of an accurate demand plan in support of the sales forecast for a defined category of products
Engage with other business functions to create a consensus forecast
Deliver forecast accuracy improvements against defined KPI's through collaboration with key stakeholders
Analysis of sales trends to maximize profitability to both the business and the customer.
In conjunction with other members of the Supply Chain team, monitor and update factory plans in line with customer demands, stock build provisions and promotional activities
Responsible key inventory measures to the business including inventory and budgetKey Requirements and Preferences:
Strong technical Demand/Supply Planning experience required
Experience of project lead demand planning (desirable)
Strong Microsoft Excel, Access and data manipulation skills with the demonstrated ability to process into tangible outputs, recommendations and actions
Sound commercial and business acumen
ERP/MRP experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to create and deliver presentations to stakeholdersIn Return, You'll Receive:
