Recruitment Pro are currently seeking an experienced and qualified maintenance fitter for a successful manufacturing business based in Scunthorpe.
The role is temporary to permanent and the successful candidate can expect to receive a direct contract with the hiring employer no later than 12 weeks after their first date. The contract will be full time 40 hours a week working 7am-3pm Monday - Friday. Starting salary between GBP33k-GBP35k.
Duties will include but not be limited to;
* Working with the maintenance team to provide hands on maintenance to their manufacturing/production lines.
* Occasional welding of site machinery.
* Offering departmental support.
* Maintenance checks on all production areas.
* Repairs as and when required.
Candidates will be expected to have previous experience in a similar role with one or more of the following skills/qualifications;
* A recognised engineering apprenticeship or equivalent level 3
* High degree of H&S awareness
* Ability to fault find, repair and provide solutions to problems
