This is a really interesting role...... reporting in to the site accountant, your role will be a varied one but will focus on the Accounts Payable function. You will need to be a real master of the double entry book keeping process, making quick work of reconciling supplier statements, running reports for mismatches, investigating queries and generally drilling down into records to resolve discrepancies as and when they are discovered!

You will have experience of running the accrual and prepayment process and will do monthly journals; although this role would be super for an AAT candidate (or studier), we are very keen to hear from qualified by experience people as well as part qualified people looking for some real "Accountancy 101" experience to complement your studies.

Please bear in mind that this is not an "entry level" role; you will need some really robust exposure to finance and accountancy in an office based environment (not just study).... but I am open to application from practice, industry or the public sector for this role!
