Salary: GBP38,520 per annum

Working Hours: Sunday - Thursday 6pm-6am + OT on the weekend weekly staff rotation

Job Status: Permanent

The role:

We have a great opportunity to join our team of experienced Paint Mix Technicians at our site based in Corby. In this role you will be working within a busy, modern and well equipped automotive bodyshop with a responsibility for mixing water-based paints for our paint sprayers.

Role Responsibilities:

• Checking vehicle paperwork to understand what colour you will require to mix
• Using a colour match scanner or spray out cards to match the correct colour
• Using computer based program to understand what paints have to be mixed to achieve the desired colour
• Weighing and mixing water-based paints
• Creating spray out cards when required
• Other adhoc duties may be required

The Person:

• Previous experience in a similar role will be essential (minimum 1 year)
• Good understanding of water-based paints and colour matching
• Flexible to work overtimes on agreed weekend staff rota
• Full valid UK driving licence is essential, held for a minimum of 2 years
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good communication skills and the ability to both work as part of a team and using own initiative
