Investment Manager - Early Stage Investment

Harvey Nash is delighted to be working with a renowned brand in the Scottish market, to appoint a new Investment Manager to working with their portfolio of early stage companies. The successful candidate will work with a range of exciting companies, supporting them through their growth and development, with specific expertise in working on deal structures with a selection of investment partners.

You will be highly experience in working in the start up/SME investment community with extensive experience of both the evaluation and structure of funding deals and how to support a early stage company through this. Candidates will have experience of working up to Series A funding levels.

The early stage experience is absolutely essential for this role.

To be considered for this role we're looking to hear from candidates who meet the following criteria:

Experience of working with earl stage high technology companies

Specific experience of developing realistic business and investment plans

Proven background in the early stage investment market/challenges faced by high growth and entrepreneurial companies

Corporate finance transactional and project management skills

Extensive experience working with venture capital, angel investor and corporate investment sectors

Outstanding interpersonal skills, with credibility working to the most senior level

Ability to be based in central Glasgow office after lock-down
