Pure are proud to be working alongside a high profile business based in Colchester with the recruitment of an HR Assistant, initially on a six month contract basis. This is a busy and varied role working in an established HR team, to start with with be based in the offices, but after training could be based partly working from home. This position requires someone who has previous HR experience and ideally a working knowledge of payroll.

The duties will include the following:

• Manage starters from recruitment to Induction.
• Oversee departments database and paper record handling processes.
• Process pension information to the pension providers systems with no errors, based on payroll deduction reports.
• Send payment reports to third party suppliers following close of monthly payroll cycle
• Process leavers including confirmation of leaving letters and exit interviews (if appropriate)
• Assisting with sickness absence management including liaising with employees on phased returns to work
• Administration including references for ex-employees
• Process starters in a timely fashion, ensure references have been obtained within one month of start date.
• HR Compliance, ensuring that the latest developments in Employment Law are reflected in the company's policies and procedures.
