We now have a great opportunity for an experienced Ecommerce Merchandiser to help grow our exciting e-commerce business covering hardware, software, luggage and clothing.

The Role

In this direct to consumer role, the Ecommerce Merchandiser is responsible for coordinating and implementing on-site product and content merchandising for a fast growing, multi brand portfolio of e-commerce websites operating across 20 countries and three locales. Namely, eu.CallawayGolf.com, eu.CallawayGolfPreowned.com, The Callaway Golf Flipbook App, eu.OGIO.com, and in future, eu.Odyssey.com & eu.Travismathew.com. Responsibility includes brand and promotional content to drive engagement and conversion.

  • Maintain the on-going improvement of all online content
  • Maintain accurate and up to date online product catalogues for all brands
  • Coordinate the end-to-end translations process for English, French & German locales.
  • Work closely with the digital marketing, creative, product management, sales and development teams to create and maintain a digital merchandising calendar that aligns with digital campaigns, product launches, integration of site features, functionality enhancements and projects to support the wider business.
  • Support development team during development projects to ensure successful integration of site features and functionality enhancements.
  • Execute merchandising and promotional plans to meet SLA's and deadlines.
  • Set-up & maintain website campaigns, promotions & coupon codes.
  • Set-up and maintain website dynamic content and integrations.
  • Monitor consumer online buying behaviour, identify opportunities and implement creative online solutions to increase website purchase conversion.
  • Ensure websites have best in class merchandising capabilities including up-sells, cross sells, and enhanced content technologies.
  • Execute test plans to ensure on-going optimisation of online merchandising.
  • Analyse and report on program results to gain insights into successes, failures, and performance trends.
  • Provide recommendations for merchandising content and placement.
  • Prioritise merchandising initiatives by collaborating with planning and analytics teams to identify the highest ROI initiatives.
  • Work with the head office teams in the U.S to ensure that brand merchandising for the EU websites align with the most up to date global brand strategies.
  • Work with the Europe Marketing and Creative Teams to ensure a consistent and powerful brand presence in the online environment that is suitable to each listed European market.
  • Work closely with the PR and Media teams to maintain the Media categories & blog pages for each brand.
  • Think strategically to relate merchandising and promotion design to present and future business needs.
  • Adhere to and support business best practices.
  • Continually monitor key competitors to identify opportunities to out-convert and surpass any perceived advantages in the market.

The Person

You'll have a minimum 2 years' experience as an ecommerce Merchandiser within a Direct to Consumer E-commerce environment. You'll need content management plus HTML experience and a working knowledge of E-commerce, CRM software and personalisation & digital asset management tools.

With advanced analytical skills & computer MS software proficiency you'll enjoy working in a fast paced, deadline driven environment bringing organisation and attention to detail skills. You'll be able to prioritize and balance projects and execute on multiple activities and assignments simultaneously without sacrificing quality.

You will be a critical thinker with problem-solving skills and have creative skills, contributing new and innovative ideas. Able to communicate well you will effectively work with and connect with all levels of employees across multiple functions and geographies. Self-motivated and flexible you can show initiative and sense of ownership and pride in personal performance and its impact on the company's success.
