Our client is looking to appoint a Cafe Manager who will report to the Site Owner. The successful candidate will be someone who takes pride in making and providing high quality, healthy food.

The company is a series of managed offices, residences and construction sites, so they are looking for an individual who can envision the highest standard for each area and conduct themselves appropriately at all times. They would like to welcome a well-mannered character with a 'can do' working attitude and a sunny disposition.

Duties and key responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the caf??
• Scheduling shifts
• Coordinate with vendors and order supplies, as needed
• Add new menu items based on seasonality and customers' preferences
• Ensure all cafe areas are clean and tidy
• Monitoring daily finances
• Drive promotion and marketing initiatives
• Nurture friendly relationships with customers to increase loyalty and boost reputation

To succeed in this role

You will need:

• Experience working in hospitality/catering at a management or supervisory level
• Food safety & hygiene Certificates
• A thorough understanding of allergens
• Knowledge and experience in maintaining and monitoring Health and Safety
• The ability to remain calm under pressure
• Excellent time management skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and forward-thinking ethos
• A professional, enthusiastic and flexible approach
• The ability to promote excellent team work to achieve exceptional customer experience
