Our client is a very well-established global supplier to the automotive industry, with a presence in 32 countries and with Headquarters in North Staffordshire.
They provide a comprehensive engineering, logistics and commercial support capability to U.K. customers and have delivered significant growth in recent years.
Responsibilities
* Responsible for all account management activities for an Off-Road and construction major customer.
* Act as interface with customer so that their key requirements are understood.
* Managing the quotation preparation
* Managing the competitive quotation to customer including pricing, change management and claims
* Handling any concerns and interests of the customer
* Management of day-to-day sales activities (pricing, negotiations, project related)
* Negotiation of project contracts and ensure alignment with legal requirements
* Customer care (Key contact person for customers, customer visits, negotiations)
* Tracking of critical situations within customer
* Maximise profitability.
* Seek and develop new business opportunities
Your Profile:
* Ideally educated to HNC or degree level, or equivalent.
* Fluent English
* Excellent IT Skills / MS Office
* Proven track record in an automotive sales/commercial environment
* Customer and market knowledge
* Strong negotiation skills, highly driven.
* Effective proven customer interface skills.
* Strong communication, report writing and presentation skills
