Home: Small size: Care home for Adults with learning disabilities and mental health condition
Job Description:
A medium sized care home in Eastbourne is currently looking for a Residential Manager to join their service. The home has a GOOD' CQC report and has a fantastic local reputation! The service is looking for a registered manager who has strong leadership skills and learning disabilities and mental health experience. The right candidate must be an experienced manager who enjoys staff development and must have a working knowledge of the law and regulations associated with a Registered Manager.

Job Requirements:
• Marketing the home and ensuring occupancy
• Ensuring CQC compliance
• Deliver excellent person-centred care and oversee all safeguarding issues
• Promote and maintain a high standard of care
• To work within the NMC Code of Professional Conduct and the Commission for Social Care Inspection standards
• Conform with the latest guidelines, maintain the highest levels of governance, whilst regularly auditing practices and procedures.
To be eligible for this fantastic Home Manager opportunity all we need is a candidate who:
• Learning disabilities and mental health experience
• Have a positive attitude towards improving Standards of Care.
• Possess good, strong leadership skills and works well as part of a team.
• At least 1 years' experience as a Home Manager within the care sector
• Ideally have a RMA / NVQ 5 or equivalent
• Knowledge of quality standards
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
• Strong planning, organisational and communication skills
• Has a strong understanding of CQC legislation
Salary is up to GBP28k with fantastic opportunities.
