We are looking for a motivated Quality Technician to join a dynamic quality team, based in Stafford. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in an ISO9001 approved company and have worked in an agile, small batch, high quality environment.
General Responsibilities
* Audit inspection and goods inwards / final inspection.
* Conduct 8D investigations and feedback to customers.
* Assist in the creation and maintenance of procedures within our integrated ISO framework.
* Carry out internal process and department audits. Work with the department management to implement improvements and solve any non-conformities.
* Continuous improvement of the manufacturing process from a quality, delivery and cost perspective.
Attributes and Skills
* Good working knowledge of 5S, 8D and FMEA.
* Able to read and understand Engineering drawings and take detailed measurements.
* Be able to plan, work as part of a team and on your own initiative.
* Experienced in the use of ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
* Excellent attention to detail with a proactive and enthusiastic outlook.
* Working knowledge of lean manufacturing and 5s.
* Good all round communication skills.
