Speech and Language Therapist
Leader Education are recruiting for a qualified and experienced Speech and Language Therapist for an independent through-age SEND school based in West Sussex.
You will be competent and experienced in Dysphagia Management as you will be required to lead on service development initiatives and evidence-based practice around Dysphagia Management.
Whilst working alongside and supporting other SALT's you will be required to lead on training specific to eating, drinking and swallowing.
You will have experience of the IDDSI Framework and should be at minimum level C in accordance with the RCSLT Dysphagia competency framework.
Ideally, you will have experience of supporting young people with neuro-motor impairments, delivering a total communication approach and supporting with the use of AAC - further training can be offered in this area in line with IDDSI and Dysphagia Competency Framework.
Any successful application will be subject to obtaining suitable references and an Enhanced DBS check.
This is a permanent role on either a full or part time basis. Term time only
Salary up to GBP37,890 dependent upon experience
