Process Development Technologist
My client a successful and well respected food manufacturer in Leicester are seeking a Process Technologist to join their Technical department, assisting in the launch of new products to specification, legal, quality and operationally sound processes.
Key Responsibilities
Working within NPD Managers to manage the process from kitchen handover to post launch review.
Ensure due diligence and take into consideration timescales, company procedures, legislation and customer codes of practice
Attendance at customer meetings
Attendance at weekly critical path meeting
Plan, supervise and report factory trials
Reviewing analytical data
Management of factory process trial plan
Support to production to provide solutions
Skills and experience;
Understanding of HACCP, GMP and hygiene
Basic understanding of Microbiology and Nutrition
Strong communicator
Analysis
Attention to detail
Good computer skills
Strong communicator
Qualifications
Degree/HND in a food or science discipline
1 years+ experience in food manufacturing
Sensory training or experience
Role
Days Mon- Friday 8.30am-5pm
Salary - Very much DOE
