We are progressive and dynamic Building Services Engineering Consultancy who are based on the outskirts of York. That's the walled City of York; home to the magnificent minster, the Ebor Races and Terry Chocolate Orange, just 1hr 50mins on the train from London for the bright lights, 30mins drive to the seaside and a multitude of historic houses, parks and 40mins to the wild rugged North Yorkshire Moors. For those sneaky long weekend breaks, both Leeds / Bradford and Doncaster Robin Hood airports, just a 40mins drive and provide an enviable array of European city destinations subject to current restrictions of course.
Due to expansion we now require a couple of team members to deal with an ever increasing work load.
Our current projects cover a wide range of sectors from commercial, education and light industrial through to historic and listed buildings; all being bespoke projects and requiring an exacting design solution.
We now have an immediate need for enthusiastic Mechanical & Electrical Engineers. At this moment we would consider applications from various grades of engineer - from Junior through to senior level. At senior level we would expect you be able to confidently undertake design works from conception through to completion for projects assisted by the Junior and Graduates Engineers.
This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer wishing to work on projects that are generally 'just a little different' to office refurbishment.
Experience Expectations
* Design flair
* Good written skills (specification /report writing)
* Good verbal communication skills (meeting attendance would be essential)
* Excellent 'attention to detail'
* HNC/HND in Building Services Engineering as an absolute minimum
* +5 years experience in the Building Services Engineering industry for senior grades.
* Ability to use AutoCAD and IES software are essential requirements and ability to use Revit, TAS and a BIM package would be beneficial for Mechanical Engineers.
* Ability to use AutoCAD, Relux, Hevacomp Connect are essential requirements for Electrical Engineers.
